Briefly Explain Customer’s Benefit
Some customers are too close minded that they could not understand that what you are offering would make their life better. They are more on thinking about the expenses than the benefit that they can get out of their purchase. Make sure that when you are offering an up sell to the customer, this is something that would benefit them. Briefly explain to the customer why they need to buy that extra product and provide reason why this would make their life easier. Make them understand the situation until you convince them to buy extra products. If customers know that this is for their own benefit, they will surely give in to buy that extra products.
